In all agreements with contractors TDIC requires that relevant labour laws must be strictly adhered to as well as TDIC’s Employment Practices Policy, a document that sets out workers rights and employment practices and standards that is applied across all TDIC projects. This policy’s aim is to set fair employment relations practices between TDIC and its contractors and their sub-contractors and stipulates that employees will be treated fairly, irrespective of race, gender or ethnic origin.
