Manarat Al Saadiyat

Manarat Al Saadiyat means ‘the place of Enlightenment’. It is a 15,400 square metre arts and culture centre, designed to bring the vision of the island to life through The Saadiyat Story. The venue also features four gallery spaces.

Located on Saadiyat, this artistic venue houses TDIC exhibitions with international collections from around the world, including three major galleries, a central events gallery, sales centre, 250-seat theatre, and restaurant.

Fanr restaurant, which is now open, is a contemporary dining venue offering a wide variety or regional and international cusine with seating for 250 diners inside or al fresco in the courtyard, designed around a traditional Arabic court. Fanr has become a very popular spot and was recently voted 'Best Casual Dining' in Ahlan Magazine's Best in Abu Dhabi Awards 2012!

The main galleries of Manarat Al Saadiyat:

• The Saadiyat Story - This interactive experience centre brings to life the historical and cultural vision behind Saadiyat Island as well as its future plans. It is now open.
• Manarat Al Saadiyat Galleries - The main galleries of Manarat Al Saadiyat constitute of permanent spaces for a series of exhibitions and educational programmes organised by TDIC. This is part of an ongoing cultural programme dedicated to developing awareness and understanding of art and culture prior to the launch of the Saadiyat Cultural District. • Central Events Gallery – a 660 square metre multi-purpose space opening out onto a landscaped garden area for hosting Manarat Al Saadiyat’s special events calendar.
• Theatre – a state of the art 250-seater auditorium designed to host Manarat Al Saadiyat’s varied performing arts program.

From Abu Dhabi City: From the Mena (port) area take Sheikh Khalifa bridge to Sheikh Khalifa Highway E12 and follow road signs to Manarat Al Saadiyat.
From Dubai or Abu Dhabi (Travelling on E11): Take Saadiyat Island/Yas Island exit on to Sheikh Khalifa Highway E12, and drive through to Saadiyat Island, and then follow road signs to Manarat Al Saadiyat.
